Featuring a two-core construction, the 3m connection cable includes both conductors and earth - it has a protective braid. The LARX Heating Mat is installed directly under the floor tiles. The base is a clean penetrated substrate. The heating mat is self-adhesive for easy installation. The flexible adhesive is applied directly to the mat and the tiles are laid. Installation is simple and can be done by any customer or floor tiler. After the carrier fabric has been cut, the mat can be folded in another direction, so that the whole room can be covered with one strip. The set contains one heating mat of a given size. The individual strips can be freely parallel connected up to a total output of 2,300 W for a 10 A circuit breaker and 1.5 mm² wiring.
All mats have a uniform width of 50 cm. The length cannot be shortened, but they can be bent after cutting the supporting fabric. All variants are equipped with 3 meter long supply cables, including a ground wire.
LARX Carbon Kit can be controlled by any thermostat designed for electric (230 V) underfloor heating with a floor sensor. The thermostat is not included in the package.
